Kate Brodock
Hey, I'm Kate Brodock. I'm President of Girls in Tech, a global organization for women in technology and entrepreneurship, and Founder of Other Side Group, a social media marketing and content production firm with a sweet spot for writing....among other things.
Hi, I’m Kate, and I’m Founder & Chair of the Other Side Group, a social media marketing and content production firm. OSG works with clients on all things writing (blogging, eBooks, white papers, etc) and social business and social strategy.
I’m also President of Girls in Tech Global, and on the Strategy Board forThe Meta-Activism Project (MAP). Because I’m apparently a masochist, I also blog at Ad Your Comment Here and B2B Voices and can be found writing in various other places such as Forbes and Mashable.
Most recently, I was Executive Director of Digital and Social Media at Syracuse University, leading university-wide efforts in the space. In my past, pre-graduate life, I was in two start-ups (one technology transfer and one critical infrastructure preparedness; one successful, one not so much) and still love the start-up and small business feel of things.
I have an MA in International Relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and an MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. My focus…mmmm…foci were Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Southwest Asia and Islamic Civilization and Security Studies. I also have BAs in Political Science and History from the University of Rochester.
On the side, I’m a very non-professional musician and very non-professional athlete.
That’s probably all your attention span needs Here’s my full CV if it needs more.
Have a great day.
Kate
